Join us for a special off-site Explorations in Watercolor series at The Trail Clubhouse (thanks, Russell!)

For most of us, the goal of artmaking is not to end up on the walls of a museum, but to insert a much-needed pocket of creative play & ease into the everyday.  This winter/early spring series, utilizing still life objects and florals, aims to help you tune into the world around us with artist's eyes, tap into our own unique way of seeing and add just a bit more to your watercolor technique toolbox.

Each session will start with an exercise or two to warm up as a group and will include plenty of quiet time for personal exploration and questions. We will be using elements from each session to inspire the next, but no worries if you miss a session - everyone's creative practice looks a little different and stepping away can be just as valuable as stepping in.

Regular participants will wish to bring their own preferred watercolors and watercolor brush, and may find bringing their own sketchbooks to be helpful as well. Some materials will be provided to share. (We have included the option at checkout to purchase a starter set of watercolors and watercolor brush if you don't have them already.)

Absolute beginners to watercolor and art making are very welcome.
