Our shop doors are open 11AM - 5PM Thursday through Monday, 10AM to 6PM Saturdays.

We will be open 7 days a week starting April 16th.

Supplies for Creative Living is a brick + mortar shop and community studio in the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York with an evolving philosophy about what it means to be a creative human in a chaotic world.

Heading our way?

Our shop is located in the charming village of Cold Spring - easily accessible by the Metro North train about an hour north of New York City.

We’re open Thursday through Sunday from 11-5pm through the slow spring warmup and then back to 7 days a week. Come see us. 😊

If you’re participating in the general strike, come on by and send off some postcards to your local representatives, your favorite Minnesotan, and your best friend on us. We'll have plenty of postcards (made from repurposed watercolor paper, of course), stamps and some resources to share, as well as plenty of markers and pens if you're making protest signs.

Come on through from 11-5PM.

(Psst! The first three months of the year are the worst for small businesses operating in already challenging times. If your favorite local business is closing for the strike, make sure you give them some extra love this weekend, k? )

Join us for our 2nd Annual Art (Supply) Swap!

Clear up your creative clutter and take home what inspires you on our workshop tables from 11-5PM on Saturday, January 31st.

No need to bring something to participate—everyone is welcome.

EXTRA CREDIT: Drop off your like new / gently used art supplies at the back of our shop during shop hours by Thursday, January 28th and get first dibs on 1/31 from 1O-11AM.

Please only drop off art supplies in a condition that you would also be very happy to receive.

No craft bits/fabric/yarn please! (Please, please, please.)

Art books are welcome.

Don’t forget 🎁 🌟- our Re:Wrap Table is ready and stocked up with repurposed packing papers, crafting bits and bobs, and of course, some art supplies to help you with your holiday wrapping.

Bring in all your Main Street goodies (they don’t have to be from our shop), spread out on our workshop tables and make the season feel just a little sweeter. 🌲

Our Re:Wrap Table (and shop!) is open everyday through 12/24. We’ll be open 10AM to 4PM on 12/24.

Our shop doors are closed on 12/25 and 1/1.
