About the event

We're closing out 2021 with our 4th round of The Artist's Way Correspondence Course.

Maybe you've been thinking about doing The Artist's Way for a while now and just haven't had the time / space / inclination?  Do you have a dusty copy sitting in a corner somewhere, maybe propping up a wobbly table?  Dust it off and join your creative peers this fall, as we write, talk and yes, grumble our way through this 12 week course.

Julia Cameron's trusty book The Artist’s Way is one of the best creative tools we've come across.  This book, first published in 1992, is a collection of exercises and explorations to unlock and bypass your creative blocks and to get you to start doing instead of listening to your own version of creative static.  (More on the book here, here and here.)

We love being able to offer this online format to help you navigate in and around your everyday schedule and to bring together like-minded souls from near and far.

Our Course Facilitators -

Pat Angerame is an educator, and has designed programs to integrate movement and the arts into core curriculum for special needs populations.  She is a fiber arts enthusiast, newbie uke player, sourdough wrangler and sometime writer. Pat will be facilitating the Sunday PM session.

Kathlyn Carroll is a librarian, knitter, and mom to two little kids. She's also interested in drawing, watercolor, sewing, and running, and is always trying to fine-tune the creativity-parenting-work-life balance.  Kathlyn will be facilitating the Sunday AM session.

Grace Lo is an artist, landscape architect and the owner of Supplies for Creative Living.  She loves hikes, dogs and helping people believe they're creative.  Grace will be facilitating the Thursday PM session.

postscript.  We might be a bit biased, but we think what this world needs right now is more people deeply in touch with their own inner guidance.  If the fee is prohibitive for you at this time, send us an email and we'll add you to a weekly meeting group.  All you have to do is promise to show up, ready to do some hard work. (We love you too!)
