About the event
Join us for our new after-school kids series that celebrates the wild and mysterious beauty of the world around us.
This four-part series focuses on the Power of Plants. Using local plants, stone, bone, pigments and fibers, students will learn how to craft nature-based art and about the harvesting, preparation, and storage that goes into utilizing these natural materials. We'll be making dogbane necklaces and bracelets, wood beads, plant dyed cotton bags and wildcrafted smudge sticks.
January 11th through February 1st (4 sessions)
Wednesdays 3:30 to 5PM
$95 / participant
All materials are provided.

Zach Fisher is a Hudson Valley based artist, adventure guide, and outdoor educator. He is an alumni of the Tom Brown Jr Tracker School and the founder and lead instructor of Vulpes Wild Arts, an organization that focuses on the cross section of art, primitive technology and nature-based spirituality.
Grace Lo is the owner of Supplies for Creative Living, an artist, a landscape architect and lover of all creatures. She thinks that making things by hand is magic, and loves tending a shop and work space that shares that love. When she's not wrangling people and things at the shop, she likes to hang out in the woods, at the edge of the sea or in her hammock.
