Slide into Sunday morning at one of our favorite local cafes, where we'll be playing with watercolors in the real world. How do you record the way a place feels to you, instead of getting stuck in the details? What does it feel like to draw and paint in the world with other people looking on? What should you bring?

For this Field Studies session, we'll be answering those questions, adding a few ideas on what to bring and how to start, and of course, getting lots of inspiration from our fellow makers.

We recommend bringing:

• a small set of watercolors

• pen / pencil

• waterbrush or watercolor brush & container for water

• a small sketchbook

Session Fee: $35 / participant

Field Studies is our off-site series, where we explore new spaces and places with sketchbook in hand. Our series are a little technique with lots of space and time to experiment and play. No experience needed.
