As you know, we love watercolors here at Supplies for Creative Living - their immediacy, their playfulness and how they instantly transport us in a different mode of being and seeing. 

Join us for our watercolor series for advanced beginners and beyond, as we find inspiration both in and out of our shop doors and deepen our own understanding of various watercolor techniques.  Each session of A Watercolor Practice is a little more than an hour long, with a focus on individual process and experimentation.  

Session Topic:  Little Things

This session honors the little, beautiful things in the world with our time and attention. We'll start with feathers and rocks to help us tune into subtle variations in color and form and move on to found objects inside and outside.  (If you have a little thing that would love to be painted, please bring it with you.)

Prerequisites: All participants for A Watercolor Practice should have some experience with watercolor, this series is not for complete beginners.   We highly recommend attending one of our (re)Introduction to Watercolor sessions before signing up for A Watercolor Practice.  

Materials: All participants should plan to bring their own watercolors, including a brush and preferred sketchbook or paper.  Some materials will be provided to share.
