In this video, middle grade author and illustrator Jodi Kendall (THE UNLIKELY STORY OF A PIG IN THE CITY, DOG DAYS IN THE CITY) demonstrates how to draw a skyscraper. Grab your pens and paper to draw along with Jodi, using basic shapes and lines to create a sparkling, towering skyscraper of your very own! Jodi also demonstrates how you can add color to your ink drawing, using paint to add dimension and splatter to your creation! Materials note: A waterproof black pen helps if you’re going to paint your skyscraper later so the paint won’t bleed! Jodi likes Micron Pens for ink + watercolor work.
